Maria Dunn

Maria Dunn at Fundraiser for Peruvian Wawa Wasi (Baby House)

> In the outskirts of Arequipa, Peru, Marcia & I (Tracy Kolenchuk) visited a Wawa Wasi , a 10' x 10' room for 9 children; cooking is on a hotplate and there's an outdoor toilet. We were so struck by the poverty, and by the working conditions of the worker that I immediately donated $100 to the project.

Marcia has arranged concert with Maria Dunn to raise funds to provide an extra room, indoor bathroom and kitchen. Come out, here some great music and support the Wawa Wasi.

Friday, January 7 at 8:00pm - 11:00pm
Location Expressionz Cafe
9938 70 Ave
Edmonton, AB
Tickets $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
YEGLive Maria Dunn
Note: Marcia will be happy to accept donations to the Wawa Wasi if you cannot attend the concert. You can make a donation here - and I will cover the paypal charges to ensure that all of the money donated goes to the Wawa Wasi construction.

Make your New Year's resolution to enjoy some great music with excellent company and support an important cause.

Hello Marcia & Tracy
I hope that you had a happy Christmas and wishing you a prosperous New Year.
I'd like to thank you and your generous friends that have aided the local new place for the children.
(I've sent) some photos, we were able to put the roof on a dew days ago and had a Christmas fiesta for all those in the area of Heroes del Cenepa (where the Wawa Wasi is located).
It was very lovely, it was organized by a group of university students; they delivered gifts for all, some clothes and chocolate and paneton (a sweet bread, traditional at Christmas). It was a great day. I hope you enjoy the photos. A big hug,

Alexander
